Summer ART Camps
Art Meets Science
Who: Ages 4-8 years old. (Campers must be potty trained).
When: Monday, June 5 - Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 10:00AM-1:00PM
The Details: This camp is designed specifically for little artists and their interest in learning how the world works! This camp will focus on the fun and process behind art!
We will learn how to:

Invent and mix new colors through hands on science experiments
-
Build and balance as we tinker with wood and other sculpting materials
-
Create art inspired by a variety of sciences the campers are interested in such as architecture, biology, engineering and more!
Cost: $165 per camper

Modern Makers & Creators Camp
Who: Ages 4-8 years old. (Campers must be potty trained).
When: Monday, June 12 - Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 10:00AM-1:00PM
The Details: A journey through contemporary art history! Each day we'll introduce a modern artist to spark creativity and gather inspiration. We won't simply learn about their style, but look at famous works of art as jumping off points to create our own imaginative, vibrant and unique masterpieces!
A few projects and activities will include:

Sam Gilliam watercolor tapestries

Explore self portraits inspired by Kehinde Wiley

Design, build and paint polkadot sculptures inspired by the polkadot queen Yayoi Kusama
-
Explore the process of still-life and abstract painting techniques and more!
Cost: $165 Per Camper

Art in Nature
Who: Ages 4-8 years old. (Campers must be potty trained).
When: Monday, June 19 - Thursday, June 22, 2023 from 10:00AM-1:00PM
The Details:
Children will spend their days observing flowers and insects from our garden, taking nature walks and painting under the trees!
Some projects examples include:

Building earth art in our outdoor create spaces

Experimenting with clay, mud, and plants to create our own pigments
-
Weaving with grasses, flowers and natural materials
-
Eric Carle inspired critter habitats with recycled paper and liquid watercolor
Cost: $165 per camper

Art Around the World
Who: Ages 4-8 years old. (Campers must be potty trained).
When: Monday, June 26 -Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 10:00AM-1:00PM
The Details: Campers will explore vibrant art from cultures around the world. Learn about a variety of cultures through traditional craft and folk art.
A few projects and activities will include:

Practicing artistic techniques from other countries

Creating batik tapestries
-
Making musical anklets inspired by Indian classical dancers.

Exploring art inspired by Native American artists, African artists, and more!
Cost: $165 per camper

Printmaking Camp
Who: Ages 4-8 years old. (Campers must be potty trained).
When: Monday, July 10 -Thursday, July 13, 2023 from 10:00AM-1:00PM
The Details:
In this camp artists will explore printmaking through a variety of our favorite art projects. Think paint rollers, stamp making, monoprints and tons of texture and dazzling color.
A few projects and activities will include:

Creating intricate designs with scratch foam prints

Building our own unique stamps

Explore texture printmaking with cardboard, bottle caps, bubble wrap, fabric and more

Stamping with legos and blocks
-
Rainbow leaf prints

Enchanted Forest
Who: Ages 4-8 years old. (Campers must be potty trained).
When: Monday, July 17-Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 10:00AM-1:00PM
The Details:
This camp is all about a world of magic and enchantment. Forest fairies, elves, unicorns and gnomes are all invited to join in our week of wonder.
A few projects and activities will include:

Mixing magical fairy potions

Creating nature wands and crowns

Making a mythological creature from your wildest imagination

Building a sparkling enchanted forest sculpture from clay feathers and gems!

Modern Sculptors
Who: Ages 4-8 years old. (Campers must be potty trained).
When: Monday, July 24 -Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 10:00AM-1:00PM
The Details:
Artists are more than painters. They are builders, inventors, and engineers! At camp we will:

Use reclaimed materials to design new objects

Create and build with real tools
-
Explore a variety of mediums including clay, wood, wire and more to dream up inventive creations
Cost: $165 per camper

Eco Art Camp
Who: Ages 4-8 years old. (Campers must be potty trained).
When: Monday, July 31 -Thursday, August 3, 2023 from 10:00AM-1:00PM
The Details:
This camp will be grounded in growing a love for nature and caring for our earth. We will create artwork that uses recycled and reclaimed material with an emphasis on invention and exploration as the protectors of our planet, animals and one another.
Some projects and activities will include:

Creating zero waste art such as making paint from fruit and vegetables and biodegradable glitter from flower petals and minerals
-
Building an ecosystem diorama from recycled materials
-
Creating an up-cycled birdhouse!
