During Open Studio you will find us painting, creating, exploring, and playing. We will feature weekly changing invitations to create as well as the opportunity to create and explore on your own! We will provide the paint, glue, collage materials, stamps, scissors, reclaimed art materials, and much more all you need to bring is the creativity! 

 

For our older friends, this is the perfect time and space to work on a creative school project, explore our 3D drawing pen, and get inventive with our recycled materials and hot glue guns.

Our learning through play area is inspired by process based and child led teaching philosophies. We have a variety of loose parts to explore, tree building blocks, light table and projectors, sensory tables, weaving area, alphabet stones, and changing weekly invitations to learn and play!

When the weather is warm, we will move the outdoors in our outdoor art garden, mud kitchen, and wood building/constructing area. We also have a beautiful front porch that is perfect for painting and creating on!

Also, please note that there is no art instruction during this time. Open studio time is about exploring and creating as a family! If you would like a class with instruction please check our classes page for art classes as well as family workshops!
